Teaching Assistant Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community from 1st September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a committed team who are passionate about ensuring every child thrives both academically and personally.
This is a temporary 12-month position in the first instance, with a contract running from 01/09/2026 to 20/07/2027 on Grade 5, Scale Point 6.
The successful candidate will:
Have a positive and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with children, staff and parents.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and a commitment to helping all children achieve their full potential.
Support high expectations of behaviour, learning and inclusion across the school.

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with primary-aged children (desirable).
Is patient, caring and able to inspire confidence in children.
Confident of working with children with SEND and supporting their needs.
Has good communication and organisational skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
